Is it right to make military documents public?

Whistleblower organisation Wikileaks' publication of leaked Afghan war documents has sparked strong reactions. Some commend Wikileaks for forcing governments to be transparent. Others - including the US and Pakistani governments - slam the group, saying that releasing the information endangers troops' lives.
