There are reports Turkey is considering sending troops into neighbouring Syria, to join the fight against the so-called Islamic State.
IS controls a large portion of Syrian territory extending to its border with Turkey.
According to local media, the aim of any military action would to push back IS forces and form a buffer zone between the two countries.
Zara Zaher asked Seref Isler from the BBC's Turkish language program whether the reports are credible.
