Isner to face Bublikin Hall of Fame final

John Isner will go in as favourite whenh he faces Alexander Bublik in the final of the ATP Tour's Hall of Fame Open.

Top seed John Isner has booked his place in the Hall of Fame Open final with victory over Ugo Humbert.

The 34-year-old American came through 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 against the Frenchman in the clash in Rhode Island.

Isner will meet seventh seed Alexander Bublik in the final after the Kazakh beat Spaniard Marcel Granollers 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 6-4.

At the Swedish Open in Bastad, fifth-seeded Nicolas Jarry progressed to the final with a straight-sets 6-3 6-2 win over Federico Delbonis.

In Saturday's second semi-final, Argentine sixth seed Juan Ignacio Londero overcame Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the 2016 champion, 6-3 6-4.

At the Croatia Open in Umag, qualifier Attila Balazs reached his first ATP Tour final.

The 30-year-old Hungarian, and world No.207, saw off third-seeded Laslo Djere 6-2 6-4 in one hour and 39 minutes.

Awaiting Balazs in the final will be the fourth-seeded Dusan Lajovic after his semi-final opponent Salvatore Caruso retired.

The Italian qualifier sustained a leg injury towards the end of the first set, which Lajovic took 7-5.

Caruso played three points in the second before deciding he could not continue.
