Israeli PM still visiting Australia

Preparations are still underway for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Australia despite speculation he might cancel the trip to visit the US.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is still expected to visit Australia in the coming months.

Media reports in his country have suggested he has cancel his trip Down Under - for the second time in three years - after being invited by US President Donald Trump for talks at the White House in February.

However, AAP understands preparations for Mr Netanyahu's visit to Australia are still underway although no dates have been made public.
