Israel's ceasefire with Hamas is holding out but while things appear to be back to normal, Israelis in Tel Aviv are still wary.
Last week, a bomb blast in Tel Aviv injured 29 people, the first such attack in more than six years.
Today, the ceasefire with Hamas is still holding and on the surface the city seems almost back to normal.
Locals say the changing threat of war is an everyday norm for them and that they have come to terms with the situation.
Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system, which intercepts rockets, has given residents some comfort.
Over the eight days of violence, the system intercepted more than 400 missiles at a success rate of 84 percent.
But the system isn't infallible. Of the 16 percent of rockets that did get through, one fell in Reshian Letsian, the fourth biggest city in Israel and just 15 kilometres from Tel Aviv.
Tel Aviv resident Arik Cohen says despite showing a brave face, everyone knows things could change any minute.
"You live your life, but it can change any day. Any second, " Arik Cohen said.
