A $22 million information technology project in Adelaide's north is expected to create hundreds of jobs.
IT company Datacom will set up the new facility in the TAFE SA campus at Tea Tree Gully where it will offer a range of services to clients within South Australia and beyond.
The campus will be refurbished to accommodate 600 staff and Premier Jay Weatherill says the project is a massive boost to jobs in Adelaide's northeast.
The state government will provide $5.3 million through its economic investment fund.
"We have been aggressively pursuing businesses like Datacom to set up in Adelaide and take advantage of our low-cost, low-taxation environment," Mr Weatherill said.
Datacom chief executive Jonathan Ladd says the jobs within the new centre would range from entry-level to specialist and management positions.
"Datacom has experienced significant business growth across Australia and we expect this ongoing commitment to South Australia to help grow the local IT industry," Mr Ladd said.
"In our last financial year we added 600 jobs across Datacom and we see that king of growth increasing."
