Greater Western Sydney midfielder Jack Steele has requested a trade to St Kilda, joining homesick forward Cam McCarthy and utility Caleb Marchbank in seeking an exit from the Giants.
Steele, 20, has played 17 AFL games in two seasons and grappled with injuries, including a foot complaint which kept him out of this year's finals.
GWS have signalled they won't stand in the tough midfielder's way as long as St Kilda proposes a suitable trade.
"Jack has indicated he wants to join St Kilda and we believe he would be a great addition to our list," Saints chief operating officer Ameet Bains said on Saturday.
"The club will now work closely with both Greater Western Sydney and Jack's management to ensure we can come to a suitable trade arrangement."
With the AFL's push for a uniform salary cap next season likely to squeeze their talent-stacked list, the Giants are considered likely to move several young players on during the trade period, which commences on Monday and runs until October 20.
The Giants are already resigned to losing McCarthy to a West Australian club - most likely Fremantle - and promising key-position player Marchbank, who has requested a trade to Carlton.
GWS played hardball with McCarthy a year ago when he requested a trade to his native Perth, with the talented forward choosing to sit out the AFL season when a trade didn't materialise.
Marchbank, the sixth overall pick at the 2014 draft, put in a trade request to return to Victoria, with the Blues his desired destination.
Utility Adam Tomlinson and forward Will Hoskin-Elliott are also likely to attract interest after struggling to find a way into the team.
But the Giants are unlikely to secure a deal for Essendon's No.1 draft pick, with Bombers list manager Adrian Dodoro on Saturday saying the club intended to retain their top selection.
