George Jennings will join older brother Michael at Parramatta next year on a one-season deal.

The Eels have announced George Jennings as their latest signing for the 2017 NRL season as they continue to rebuild after their salary-cap dramas.

The signing bolsters Parramatta's depth in their outside backs.

"When given the opportunity, George has shown plenty of ability at NRL level so we expect him to push hard for selection in 2017," Eels coach Brad Arthur said.

"George will bring speed and strength to our backline next year and we look forward to him joining the squad for pre-season training."

A former Australian schoolboy and NSW under-20s representative, Jennings played five games for Penrith in 2015, but injuries had since hampered his development.

Jennings, 23, joins Nathan Brown and Siosaia Vave as Eels' acquisitions for next year.

Michael Jennings joined the Eels this season from the Sydney Roosters.
