Australia's jobless figure for April have raised to 5.4 per cent after official data was released today by The Australian Bureau of Statistics .
Unemployment has increased .01% since February.
Economists polled by AAP expected the Australian labour market to have added 20 thousand jobs in April.

The number of people unemployed increased in April, up 6,500 people to 628,100, the ABS reported.
According to the ABS this was the eighth consecutive month Australia has seen a rise in the number of people employed full-time.
The budget had predicted the unemployment rate would fall to 4.75 per cent by 2012.
