Radio legend John Laws has been released from hospital after reportedly taking a tumble at one of his favourite Sydney restaurants.

Mr Laws was dining at China Doll in Woolloomooloo on Saturday night when he lent on a table which flipped and sent him crashing to the floor, News Corp Australia reports.

The 80-year-old was released from Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital early on Sunday, a spokeswoman told AAP.
