The NSW rugby league team's preparations for Wednesday's second State of Origin match are in disarray with assistant coach Andrew Johns standing down after admitting he made a racial slur against Queensland superstar Greg Inglis.
Parramatta star Timana Tahu walked out on Friday in protest at Johns' comment made at a mid-week team meeting.
Johns has released a statement saying he made a disparaging comment about skin colour and he's apologised to both Inglis and Tahu.

Blues officials called up Canberra winger Joel Monaghan to replace Tahu, whose mother is Aboriginal.
