Harmony Day, marked on March 21, is a day for Australians to celebrate cultural diversity, and it's also the United Nation's International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Sofia Carvajal is Chilean-Australian. She was born in New Zealand but grew up in Perth. Her parents are from Chile, from where they fled as political refugees during the Pinochet dictatorship. Visiting Chile, she reflects on feeling 'stuck between two cultures'.
