America's Charles Martin will defend his IBF heavyweight title against Britain's Anthony Joshua in London on April 9.

The fight was announced on Sunday by Joshua's promoters.

The IBF belt was vacated by Tyson Fury last year and was taken by Martin when he beat Vyacheslav Glazkov in New York last month.

Martin has won 23 of his professional fights, drawing the other.

The 26-year-old Joshua won a gold medal in the London Olympics in 2012 and has won all 15 of his professional fights.
