Most of the young defence crew seemingly only wanted one thing when the foreign minister came to visit them in Fiji.
After spending weeks aboard Australia's biggest ship off the coast of Suva, there to help locals rebuild after Cyclone Winston, the young navy personnel were itching for a selfie with Julie Bishop.
They got their wish after one keen naval officer grabbed his phone and prompted the minister for a pose - and soon dozens of his colleagues joined in for the group shot.
The minister had just landed from a chopper on the HMAS Canberra to receive a briefing from defence officials on the Australian aid strategy helping communities in Fiji's battered surrounding islands on Sunday.
She thanked the crew for their efforts, adding Australia responded as soon as it could to help Fiji rebuild.
"This is our neighbourhood, this is our region," she told the gathering.
Ms Bishop spent the first of a two-day trip meeting locals on Koro Island, one of the communities worst affected by the category five cyclone which hit three weeks ago.
She sang a song with children and families on the shores of the Tuatua village, met with Australian soldiers on the ground and inspected relief efforts.
On Monday she will meet with Fiji Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama and her Fijian counterpart Inoke Kubuabola for formal talks, before visiting Australian aid workers and touring a women's market.
Cyclone Winston is considered Fiji's worst natural disaster - so far it has caused 44 deaths, decimated communities and left nearly 15,000 people in evacuation centres.
