Keith Urban is to headline the NRL grand final pre-match entertainment.

Australian country music star Urban, a multiple ARIA award winner, will be joined on the line up by Richie Sambora, a founder member of Bon Jovi, and Adelaide-born guitarist Orianthi.

"These are three of the greatest musicians and guitarists currently touring the world and to have them on the same set will be nothing short of spectacular," said NRL commercial chief Andrew Abdo.

The October 2 grand final at ANZ Stadium will pay homage to retiring players including Cronulla veteran Michael Ennis and Brisbane forward Corey Parker and highlight memorable past grand final moments.
