Kelly, Reid back for GWS, Demons unchanged

GWS have regained Josh Kelly and Sam Reid from their long injury list, while Melbourne named an unchanged line-up for their AFL clash at the MCG.

GWS have key duo Josh Kelly and Sam Reid from injury to boost their chances of victory against Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday.

But as has so often been the case for the Giants this season another player, in this case the hamstrung Ryan Griffen, is in the casualty ward while Brent Daniels has been dropped.

If Collingwood suffer an upset loss to Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Saturday afternoon, the winner of the Demons and Giants encounter could claim a top-four berth.

Kelly returns from a concussion suffered in a dangerous tackle by Adelaide skipper Taylor Walker in round 21 that saw him suspended for two games.

Reid has sustained a hamstring injury in the same match.

Star defender Zac Williams made a stellar return from a pre-season achilles injury in the NEAFL last week, though Giants coach Leon Cameron resisted the urge to elevate him into the AFL side.

Melbourne, still riding high after their away win over West Coast, stuck with the same 22 that secured a finals berth for the first time since 2006.

Cameron Pedersen, Jay Kennedy Harris, Tomas Bugg and Josh Wagner are the emergencies.

In the only other match that has top-eight implications on Sunday, West Coast will be out to lock down second spot when they take on Brisbane at the Gabba.

The Eagles have named Jack Darling after he was concussed against Melbourne, while Will Schofield and Oscar Allen come into the side.

Lewis Jetta (calf) and Brendon Ah Chee (omitted) miss out following the loss to Melbourne.

Oscar McInerney replaces the injured Alex Witherden in the only change to Brisbane's line-up.

Tenth-placed North Melbourne clash with strugglers St Kilda at Etihad Stadium in Sunday's late game.

Exciting youngster Luke Davies-Uniacke replaces the injured Will Walker for the Roos, while Jake Carlisle has recovered from a back injury and returns at the expense of Hugh Goddard for the Saints.
