After a post-Rio Olympics sabbatical for the birth of her first child, it's as if Laura Kenny never left.

The British track cycling great won another two gold medals at the weekend's London World Cup round.

Kenny headlined another strong team performance that showed the British remain the riders to beat in women's track endurance events ahead of the world championships next February and the Tokyo Olympics.

After helping Great Britain win the team pursuit, Kenny combined with Katie Archibald to dominate the madison.

The British won the madison on 34 points, well ahead of Australia's Amy Cure and Annette Edmondson on 19.

The World Cup was held at the Lee High VeloPark, the same velodrome where Kenny won gold in the team pursuit and omnium at the London Olympics.

Kenny won gold in the same events at Rio and then had time off for the birth of her son, Albert.

Her husband is Jason Kenny, the six-time Olympic gold medallist in sprint events.

Kenny's first major competition after motherhood was the world championships earlier this year, where Great Britain won silver in the teams pursuit behind the United States.

The British crushed the Americans in the team pursuit final at the London World Cup, catching them during the gold medal ride.
