Kenya's Foreign Minister says his country is planning to push hundreds of thousands of Somali refugees back across the border.
Moses Wetangula says Kenya has been carrying a heavy burden of refugees for too long, and their camps have now been infiltrated by members of the militant al-Shabaab group from Somalia.
He says Kenyan troops sent into southern Somalia recently are creating conditions suitable for the return of refugees, under the supervision of the United Nations.
In Perth for the CHOGM, Mr Wetangula told Santilla Chingaipe that Kenya rejects claims by some aid officials that its incursion across the border has made the humanitarian situation worse.
