The Australian Capital Territory government has handed down a deficit budget for 2019/20 but aims for surpluses in coming years.

- Deficit of $89.1 million for 2019/20

- Net surplus of $392.6 million over the next four years

- Net debt forecast at $2.7 billion at June 30, 2020

- Forecast revenue of $5.9 billion in 2019/20

- Rates revenue $388.4 million in 2019/20
