Khandalyce Pearce will be laid to rest with her murdered mother in Alice Springs.
A small white coffin containing the remains of the two-year-old, whose bones were found dumped in the South Australian bush in July, will be taken to Alice Springs in the coming days.
She will be buried with her mother Karlie Pearce-Stevenson, whose body was found in NSW's notorious Belanglo State Forest in 2010.
Daniel James Holdom, 41, was last month charged with Ms Pearce-Stevenson's murder.
"It is time for Khandalyce and her mother Karlie to go home. To be reunited as one in each others' arms. To rest in peace for eternity," a statement released on behalf of the family on Wednesday said.

Mother and daughter will reportedly be buried at a private funeral.
"Karlie and Khandalyce were loved. They were missed. Their family lived in hope they would one day return home," the statement said.
"Both were incredible gifts - a blessing to all who truly knew them - that were never forgotten nor will they be."
The family said they had been overwhelmed by support from across Australia, particularly for the money raised to bring Karlie and Khandalyce home.
"Heartfelt offers were forthcoming from strangers who wanted no more than to ensure the child was able to rest in peace, knowing that others cared in spite of the most awful acts inflicted on her," the family said.
The statement also indicated that family members wanted those responsible for the brutal murders to be found and punished.
"They ask, however, that no matter the rumour, innuendo and conjecture, that all remember always that a mother and her child were needlessly and callously killed."
Holdom is due to appear by videolink in Sydney's Central Local Court on January 28.
