Thr long wait is just about over for Sydney NBL star Kevin Lisch, with his much anticipated comeback for the Kings scheduled for Saturday.

The two-time MVP and 2016 Olympian hasn't played for almost three months since injuring a calf in mid-October.

Having played the Kings' first three games, but missing the next 17, he is down play at home on Saturday against Adelaide.

"I've done tons of rehab, we've been nice and conservative, I feel great now and coming back ready to play," Lisch said.

Bottom of the table with a 5-15 record, Sydney appear to have no realistic chance of making the finals.

But guard Lisch is determined they will finish with a flourish.

"It's by no means a lost season for us - we've a lot to play for," he said.

"There's no way we're going to quit and we expect to hopefully win as many of the eight remaining games as we can."

Saturday's match will give long-suffering Kings fans the chance to finally watch Lisch play alongside reigning MVP and fellow top guard Jerome Randle.

"I've been looking forward to playing with Jerome for a while now. I've had enough playing against him and I'm glad that's done for now and we get to play together," Lisch said.

The game will also feature the return of another popular player in Sydney, former Kings and NBA player Josh Childress, who now suits up for Adelaide.

"From my understanding, he's done a lot for the city of Sydney. I think he's been a great person on and off the court," Lisch said.
