A Kiwi journalist and three other men working for Al Jazeera have been released by Egyptian authorities after being detained for five days.
Former Television New Zealand journalist Wayne Hay, along with cameraman Adil Bradlow, and producers Russ Finn and Baher Mohammed, were arrested on Tuesday while covering events in Cairo.
Al Jazeera says the four men were released on Sunday after they were held in detention for five days without charge.
Egyptian state news agency MENA said the trio left on a flight to London. Police say they did not have press accreditation.
A number of other Al Jazeera journalists are still being held in Egypt, while its offices in the country have been raided and equipment has been seized amid a "campaign against the network," Al Jazeera says.
