South Sydney forward Liam Knight and Warriors prop Sam Lisone will miss their club's next two NRL matches after being found guilty at the judiciary on Tuesday night.

Knight was disputing the grading of a grade two dangerous contact charge for a chicken wing tackle on St George Illawarra forward James Graham on Thursday.

Knight will miss the Rabbitohs' games against Gold Coast and Manly after taking his case to the judiciary and losing.

A successful downgrade would have helped him escape suspension and if he originally pleaded guilty to the charge Knight would've missed just one game.

Warriors forward Lisone was challenging his dangerous contact charge from the game against Wests Tigers.

Due to carry-over points and prior offences, a guilty plea would've still meant Lisone missed two matches for his tackle on Thomas Mikaele in Sunday's game.
