Former Nirvana star Krist Novoselic has teased fans about a band reunion at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony next week by confirming he's rehearsing his "bass tabs".
The bassist, Dave Grohl and the late Kurt Cobain will be part of the Class of 2014 inducted into the Ohio music museum, and Novoselic has suggested he'll be performing at the New York gala.
In a message posted to Twitter, the rocker wrote: "Been playing those @HalLeonardBooks bass tabs to get up to speed. Muscle memory is good too. PracticeMakesPerfect @nirvana."
Former REM frontman Michael Stipe will induct Nirvana into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
Nirvana will join KISS, Peter Gabriel, Linda Ronstadt and Hall & Oates among this year's inductees.
April 5 marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Nirvana frontman Cobain.
