London's unreliable summer weather has thrown Nick Kyrgios' Wimbledon schedule out of whack.

Kyrgios was due to play German Dustin Brown on a busy day for Australians on Thursday, however that match has now been postponed until Friday after rain wreaked havoc on the opening three days of the championships.

While the Australian eased through his first round match in four sets, the corresponding fixture between Federico Delbonis and Fabio Fognini is still locked at a set apiece.

The winner of that match will play Feliciano Lopez for a shot at the winner of Kyrgios and Brown in the third round.

Fellow Australians Samantha Stosur, Daria Gavrilova, John Millman and Bernard Tomic will all still play their second-round matches on Thursday.

Matthew Barton will again aim to finish his first-round match against Frenchman Albano Olivetti, with the match locked at 3-3 in the fifth set.
