Controversial Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios will line up alongside major champions Juan Martin del Potro, Venus Williams and Garbine Muguruza and part in exhibition matches at Madison Square Garden on March 6.

Kyrgios this month copped a two-month suspension from the ATP for tanking and insulting fans during the Shanghai Open, but has since had his ranking rise to a career-high of 13.

He will play good friend, and rising star of American tennis, Jack Sock.

The 10th anniversary edition of the BNP Paribas Showdown, announced on Wednesday, also includes the following matchups: 2009 US Open champion del Potro vs. 2014 US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori and seven-time grand slam title winner Williams vs. 2016 French Open champion Muguruza.
