Australian Nick Kyrgios has cruised through to the third round of the Miami Open with a 7-5 6-3 victory over Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik.
Kyrgios proved far too good for his opponent in Florida, nailing nine aces across the 69 minutes and winning 84 per cent of first-serve points.
"I know he's a player who tries to keep things on his own terms ... kind of reminds me of me a little bit," Kyrgios said.
"He just needs to play those bigger points with a little more discipline ... Strange me saying that.
"I knew I had to be the disciplined one of the two today."

He'll next face Serbian Dusan Lajovic after his 2-6 6-2 6-3 upset of Kei Nishikori.
Kyrgios' compatriot John Millman, meanwhile, fell out in the second round after a 5-7 6-3 6-7(2-7) loss to Argentine Federico Delbonis.
Bernard Tomic was also unable to overcome Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic, going down to the world No.1 6-7(2) 6-2 in 73 minutes.
"(Tomic) doesn't give you much rhythm at all. Every ball is different. He can play equally well in the court and far behind the baseline, slows down the pace. He just has a very unconventional shot," Djokovic said.
In other matches, Milos Raonic earned a walkover to the third round after Maximilian Marterer's withdrawal, while John Isner defeated Lorenzo Sonego.
Robin Haase, Roberto Bautista and Fabio Fognini also won through.
Austrian Dominic Thiem, meanwhile, lost 4-6 4-6 to 22-year-old Hubert Hurkacz after winning last week's Indian Wells title.
