Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says she will go to the next election as the underdog despite her government having done a "very good job".

She says Labor will be up against the combined muscle of the Liberal National party and One Nation, despite LNP leader Tim Nicholls saying there will be no statewide preselection swap between the parties.

"He has not categorically ruled out any deals with One Nation," Ms Palaszczuk told ABC radio on Tuesday.

"He has said they will look at them on a seat-by-seat basis and what we could see is Tim Nicholls become the premier because of a deal that he will strike with One Nation after the next election."

"We go into this as an underdog just like (boxer) Jeff Horn did with his battle for Brisbane."
