Labor MP puts Liberals ahead of Greens

Labor's Melbourne Ports MP Michael Danby has decided to put the Liberals ahead of the Greens on his how-to-vote cards.

A veteran federal Labor MP is putting the Liberals ahead of the Greens on his how-to-vote cards.

Melbourne Ports MP Michael Danby told Sky News on Monday the Liberals should rethink their tactic of preferencing the Greens in some seats.

"I, as in the last election, have determined that in my seat that I will be preferencing the Liberals ahead of the Green party," Mr Danby said.
