Labor is opening up a new line of attack, criticising the coalition for not taking Western Sydney seriously.
Western Sydney Labor MP Jason Clare took aim at the coalition for not confirming candidates for five seats in the key area of the west.
"There are five seats in Western Sydney where the Libs haven't picked a candidate yet and we've got less than five weeks until the election," he told the Seven Network on Monday.
Instead voters have got a "try-hard Tony Abbott", Mr Clare said.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is visiting the marginal seat of Lindsay again on Monday where he will make up for a missed street walk from the first week of his campaign.
