Labor PMs embraced at campaign launch

Three former Labor prime ministers have been greeted by a standing ovation as they entered the party's official campaign launch in western Sydney.

The Labor faithful have given Julia Gillard, Paul Keating and Bob Hawke a rousing reception as the former prime ministers arrived at the party's official campaign launch.

The trio sat side by side as they waited for leader Bill Shorten to make his appearance at Penrith, in western Sydney.

Labor members rose to their feet, clapping and cheering enthusiastically as the party legends walked into the event.
