Kobe Bryant could hardly have dared to dream the outcome as the Los Angeles Lakers won his final career clash with Steph Curry and the mighty Golden State Warriors.

Bryant scored 12 points but sat out the last quarter resting his aching shoulder as the lowly Lakers triumphed 112-95 at home, handing the NBA's pace-setting defending champions a rare loss.

Golden State fell to a 55-6 season record while the Lakers improved to 13-51 with their biggest victory in a downtrodden farewell season for Bryant.

Curry led the Warriors with 18 points on a day when they were awful offensively.

Klay Thompson added 15 points but the Splash Brothers - Curry and Thompson - were a combined one of 18 from three-point range.

They were the only Warriors to reach double figures in scoring. Forward Draymond Green, who was limited by foul trouble, had nine points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.

Golden State played without forward Andre Iguodala, who had a tight left hamstring.

In all, the Warriors missed 26 of 30 attempts from three point range.

Jordan Clarkson scored 25 points for the Lakers and D'Angelo Russell added 21.

In Milwaukee, Kevin Durant had 32 points and 12 rebounds, Russell Westbrook posted his 10th triple-double of the season as Oklahoma City built a big early lead and held off Milwaukee 104-96

Westbrook finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the Thunder, who led by 21 with six minutes left in the third quarter before nearly getting overrun by the Bucks.

Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo picked up his third triple-double of the season with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

Elsewhere, Reggie Jackson scored 30 points in another big game against Portland as hosts Detroit beat the Trail Blazers 123-103.

D.J. Augustin scored Denver's last eight points of overtime, including two free throws with 0.9 seconds left as the Nuggets beat Dallas 116-114.

Devin Booker had 27 points and nine assists, Alex Len added 19 points and 16 rebounds as Phoenix beat Memphis 109-100 in Memphis.

Hassan Whiteside had seven blocked shots, including a pivotal one late as Miami won their fifth in a row, beating Philadelphia 103-98 in Miami.
