Landmark title rights ruling in Canada

The Canadian Supreme Court has issued a landmark ruling granting Aboriginal people title to public lands.

The court ruled that in the absence of a treaty, Canada's First Nations people hold the title rights to what were thought to be public areas and their resources.

North American correspondent John Stempin is in Washington.

He told Greg Dyett about the origins of the case.
