Sri Lanka has avoided any criticism in the CHOGM communique, despite war crimes allegations.

Allegations of war crimes in Sri Lanka were a prominent issue, as Commonwealth leaders gathered in Perth last week.

But when the Heads of Government meeting ended, the only reference to Sri Lanka in the final communique was the fact that it would be the host of the next meeting, in two years.
