A stolen laptop computer has led police to a cache of drugs, weapons and cash in Melbourne.

A woman used tracking software on the computer, stolen from her car in Maidstone, to trace it to a house in a Sunshine west street, police say.

Police charged three men with a range of offences after they searched the house on Saturday, finding the laptop, four firearms, ammunition, a stun gun, cash and drugs.
