Lydia Lassila's extraordinary return to aerial skiing has continued with the two-time Winter Olympic medallist claiming another World Cup win in Belarus.
Mother of two Lassila, who'd sat out competition for close to three years, made light of her disappointing last start at the 2018 Games site in Pyeongchang where she'd finished 17th.
It was a one-two for Australia in Minsk as Danielle Scott, the current World Cup points leader, finished second.
China's Mengtao Xu was third with another Australian, Samantha Wells, fifth.
"My jumping is getting better as the season goes on," Lassila said.
"I've toned down my excitement from my first win but I'm equally wrapped."
She executed the best triple-twisting double somersault of the three medallists in Minsk to score 97.64, edging Scott (94.47) and Xu (91.29).
Lassila moved to third in the standings after having claimed a win in just her second event back in Utah at the start of the month.
Scott only needs to finish above Xu in the final event in Moscow next month to claim the globe as the overall World Cup winner in aerial skiing.
After that is the world championships in Spain where another Australian, Laura Peel, is the defending champion.
With an Olympic gold medal (2010) and bronze (2014) as well as an overall title Lassila has little left to prove in the sport, although a medal at a world championship has alluded her in four attempts.
Meanwhile the Australian moguls team showed off their depth with a successful competition in Thaiwoo, China on Saturday.
Brodie Summers outshone his more favoured compatriot Matt Graham by a spot to place second in the men's event.
It was won by the dominant Canadian Mikael Kingsbury.
After having already wrapped up the World Cup moguls title Britt Cox finished third in the women's behind France's Perrine Laffont and Canada's Justine Lafour-Dupointe.
