Waratahs hooker Silatolu Latu has been cited for allegedly striking Brumbies centre Matt Toomua during the Brumbies 32-15 Super Rugby victory over the Waratahs.

The incident occurred in the 57th minute of the match and was reviewed at the time by referee Marius van der Westhuizen, who was unable to see any clear and obvious foul play from the replay views provided during the game.

Any potential length of ban if Latu is found guilty has yet to be determined.
