An Australian Nobel Prize winner says he's again been the victim of fraudulent use of his name to endorse a Chinese health product.

A Chinese website claims Professor Peter Doherty leads a medical institute which has produced its nutrition product.

But Professor Doherty, known for his work in immunology and microbiology, says he had never heard of the Chinese company, or the bogus institute.

It's is the second time the former Australian of the Year has been targeted by Chinese companies trying to benefit from his success in medicine.

He discussed the situation with Andi Yu.
