"Costa has today joined Leeds United from Wolverhampton Wanderers on an initial one year loan deal, which will become a permanent transfer next summer for an undisclosed fee," Leeds said in a statement https://www.leedsunited.com/news/team-news/25119/leeds-united-complete-helder-costa-signing on their website.
Leeds said Costa had agreed a four-year contract with the second-tier club which will run until 2024.
The winger, who can also play as a centre forward, made his international debut last year and scored the opening goal in a 3-1 win against Scotland at Hampden Park.
Leeds missed out on promotion to the top flight after losing their Championship playoff semi-final to Derby County in May.
