Liberal MP Craig Kelly has taken to social media to criticise the choice of artwork in Parliament House, especially a painting of a nude witch.

A Liberal MP has criticised the choice of artwork in Parliament House, especially a painting depicting a nude witch.

Wendy Sharpe's The Witches is part of The Art of Shakespeare exhibition in a public area of the building.

While the exhibition carries a "partial nudity" warning, Craig Kelly took to Facebook to ask people if they thought it was appropriate: "Call me a philistine, but I think most of the artwork around Parliament House is appalling."
