Libya rebel volunteers fill government void

The void left by a non-functioning government in Libya's east is filled by young volunteers.

When the government ceased to function in Benghazi, chaos could have descended in Benghazi, but three months from the beginning of the unrest, that has not happened.

"There is a real sense of community here in Benghazi schools have been out for weeks now since the revolution started but the youth are all over town doing all sorts of volunteer projects. Here in this kitchen they're making about 15-thousand free meals per day," Jamal Al-Misrati told CNN.

Volunteers even managed to provide a day of entertainment for families displaced by the war.
