The Vice-President of Ghana has rejected claims that mercenaries from his country were hired by the Libyan government during the recent conflict.
Ghana was one of several African countries which Libyan rebels accused of supplying mercenaries during the military campaign that resulted in the government of Muammar Gaddafi being overthrown.
Ghana's Vice-President John Dramani-Mahama says there were thousands of Ghanains in Libya, but he doesn't believe any were mercenaries.
Mr Dramani-Mahama, who's in Perth for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, told Santilla Chingaipe other African countries are now watching developments in Libya with apprehension.
