Libyans abroad consider returning home

Tens of thousands of Libyans fled Libya during Gaddafi's 42-year rule but some are thinking of returning home to help rebuild the war-torn country.

Tens of thousands of Libyans fled Libya during Gaddafi's 42-year rule but some are thinking of returning home to help rebuild the war-torn country.

Many Libyans now live in the Middle East after they escaped to try and find freedom in places like Dubai.

But watching the news unfold over the last six months in the place where some of their friends and family still live has been almost unbearable.

Now, families living in places such as the US are considering taking the experience they have gained from living in these countries to help contribute to a better Libya following the fall of Tripoli.

Those living abroad are now imagining a Libya they could call home again.
