Light plane crashes in southern WA

A light plane has crashed south of Perth but the pilot and passenger are believed to have been unharmed.

A light plane has crashed south of Perth but its occupants have escaped injury.

The plane crashed about 200km south east of Perth in the Piesseville area near Wagin on Monday morning.

The pilot and one passenger are believed to have escaped the small RV plane unscathed and there was no fire, a Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman told AAP.
