Lions delist two including Bastinac

Brisbane has delisted Ryan Bastinac but the AFL club will reselect the former North Melbourne midfielder at the rookie draft.

Midfielder Ryan Bastinac has been removed from Brisbane's primary list but the ex-North Melbourne player will be reselected by the club in the rookie draft later this month.

The Lions announced on Friday they had delisted Bastinac, who has played 40 times for the Lions after joining them from the Kangaroos in 2016, along with 19-year-old Jacob Allison.

Both Bastinac and Allison will be reselected by the Lions in the rookie draft with club football manager David Noble saying the list change will "maximise" Brisbane's selections at this month's AFL draft.
