Back-to-back wins are nice but the Brisbane Lions are aiming to snap another long AFL drought when they face Hawthorn in Tasmania on Saturday.
The Lions banked consecutive victories for the first time since 2015 with a 65-point thumping of Carlton at the weekend.
But it's been five years since they've gone three in a row, and since they've already beaten the Hawks once this year, the Chris Fagan-coached side is entitled to think big.
"It'd be big for us to get three wins in a row," forward Eric Hipwood told reporters on Tuesday.
"We haven't looked too much at Hawthorn just yet, but when we do scout them it'll probably be pretty similar to last time.
"If we play at our best we can match it with anyone."
Clearly one of the biggest improvers in the league this season, Brisbane have only just started to see some reward for their output in the last two weeks.
They have the strongest percentage out of the bottom six sides, proving they have been much more competitive than their ladder position suggests.
"It's probably a bit disappointing, to be honest," Hipwood said.
"We didn't have the start we wanted to, we wanted to be able to play our best footy from the start.
"But now that we're really starting to play together and gel together, we're all really close mates at the footy club ... (we) understand each other's games and personalities and things like that and those relationships are starting to build and it's starting to show out on the footy field."
Hipwood was the big beneficiary at the weekend, bagging a career-high six goals in their rout of the Blues at the Gabba as their fresh-faced forward line kicked into gear.
The lanky 20-year-old was praised for his selflessness by Fagan and said he owed plenty to the players around him for his haul.
"I think we've had a forward line where we've actually played together for five or six weeks," Hipwood said.
"We're understanding the way players run, I might roll onto my left foot, Dan McStay rolls onto his left foot - little things like that that the defender might not know.
"Over the past five weeks we've started to pick that up."
