The victory was Swansea's second in eight league games and took them to within two points of safety.

"It was nice to score early on in the game because it helped the team. It gave us all some confidence," Llorente told the club's website (www.swanseacity.net).

"But now I have to continue to score to help us avoid relegation. We have four games left and I hope to score a few more."

The 32-year-old feels the Stoke victory gave Swansea the confidence to try and win at Manchester United on Sunday.

"We have a very difficult match at Old Trafford next... We want to try to win again," Llorente said.

"The last few results have not been good. We needed one win to get the belief and confidence back and we have done that. It's very important."

After the United match, Swansea host sixth-placed Everton, travel to basement side Sunderland and end the season at home against West Bromwich Albion.
