Queensland Opposition leader Tim Nicholls has refused to rule out forming a minority government with Pauline Hanson's One Nation after this year's state election.

The Liberal National Party is still reeling from the defection of its Buderim MP Steve Dickson to the minor party, ahead of an election tipped to be called later this year.

Political experts are expecting another hung parliament, but Mr Nicholls said his party plans to win, although he wouldn't rule in or out forming a minority government with One Nation.
