Third seed Paolo Lorenzi has reached the final of the ATP Ecuador Open in Quito without dropping a set.

The 35-year-old Italian beat second seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-1 6-4 to reach his third ATP World Tour singles final.

Lorenzi will face two-time defending champion Victor Estrella Burgos who beat fourth seed Thomaz Bellucci 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-3) in his semi-final.

Leading 5-2 in the opening set, Estrella Burgos squandered a couple of opportunities to serve for the opener before regrouping in the tie-break.
