A man has been charged after police seized $13 million worth of LSD in Melbourne.

Detectives raided properties in Tottenham and Maidstone on Wednesday and allegedly found a commercial quantity of the banned drug.

A 39-year-old Maidstone man has been charged with a number of drug importation charges and bailed to reappear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 7.
